In this example, the reason why the constructs have outlines going out to the edge, like a bunch of tangled bulrushes, is because this small construct-line select checkbox which is forth of nine from the left isn't checked.

Some lines are dimmed while others are bold. Bold means that the construct is significant as judged by its variation of the displayed dimensions being greater than the chosen significance factor.

The basic color of the line is taken from the position of the construct on the Z-axis.
