LL>Might be interesting to research the origins and history of that word "paranoid". I'm 57 and I only remember it cropping up in the 70's. In the vernacular, it has a different meaning that "ideas of fixiation" in psychological circles. Also, the origins of our psychology and psychiatry in the mass movement from Germany to U.S. (Operaton Paperclip) help to explain the mind set that led to MKUltra, etc. Suppose the word paranoid" was purposely introduced into our language, at the street level, to propagandize those few rare minds that slipped through the programming. Neutralizing your enemy has a long history in warfare. Perfect paranoia is perfect awareness!

How true! Here's part of an article that says something about the redefinition of paranoia. You probably have already seen this, but others mught not have. This was in one of Uploader's magazine articles last year:

From March 13, 1997 available from his home page, computer pioneer Jim Legg, as a former Capitalist, testifies before the Internet about Capitalist subversion in this country.

He exposed an American textbook, "The CIA Manual of Instructions of Psychological Warfare," that the elites' CIA chief, William Colby, made use of. Psychopolitics is defined within this manual as ".. the art and science of asserting and maintaining dominion over thought and loyalties individuals, officers, bureaus, and masses, and the effecting of the conquest of enemy nations through mental healing."

In the manual, a key element of psychopolitical brainwashing was revealed: constant defamation of target populations.

"One of the first and foremost missions of the psychopolitician is to make an attack on Capitalism and insanity synonymous. It should become the definition of insanity, of the paranoid variety, that: a paranoid believes he is being attacked by capitalists. Thus, at once the support of the individual attacking Capitalism will fall away and wither." - p. 25

"Propaganda should continue and stress the rising of insanity in a country. The entire field of human behavior, for the benefit of the country, can, at length, be broadened into abnormal behavior. Thus, anyone indulging in any eccentricity, particularly the eccentricity of attacking psychopolitics, could be silenced by the authoritative opinion on the part of a psychpolitical operative, that he was acting in abnormal fashion. p. 33

"The educational programs of psychopolitics must, at every hand, seek out the levels of youth who will become the leaders in the country's future, and educate them into the animalistic nature of Man. This must be made fashionable. They must be taught to frown upon ideas, upon individual endeavor. They must be taught above all things, that the salvation of Man is to be found only by his adjusting thouroughly to this environment." p. 43

"By thus degrading the general belief in the status of Man, it is relatively simple, with the economic salients being driven into the country, to drive citizens apart, one from another, to bring about a question of the wisdom of their own government, and to cause them to actively beg for enslavement." p. 43

How true! Here's part of an article that says something about the

redefinition of paranoia. You probably have already seen this, but

others mught not have. This was in one of Media Bypass's magazine

articles last year:

From Volume 9 of the 1939 House Committee on UnAmerican Activities;

American Kenneth Goff, as a former Communist, testified before

Congress about Communist subversion in this country.

He exposed a Russian textbook, "The Communist Manual of Instructions

of Psychological Warfare," that Stalin's secret police chief,

Lavrenti Beria, made use of. Psychopolitics is defined within this

manual as ".. the art and science of asserting and maintaining

dominion over thought and loyalties individuals, officers, bureaus,

and masses, and the effecting of the conquest of enemy nations

through mental healing."

In the manual, a key element of psychopolitical brainwashing was

revealed: constant defamation of target populations.

"One of the first and foremost missions of the psychopolitician is

to make an attack on Communism and insanity synonymous. It should

become the definition of insanity, of the paranoid variety, that: a

paranoid believes he is being attacked by communists. Thus, at once

the support of the individual attacking Communism will fall away and

wither." - p. 25

"Propaganda should continue and stress the rising of insanity in a

country. The entire field of human behavior, for the benefit of the

country, can, at length, be broadened into abnormal behavior. Thus,

anyone indulging in any eccentricity, particularly the eccentricity

of attacking psychopolitics, could be silenced by the authoritative

opinion on the part of a psychpolitical operative, that he was

acting in abnormal fashion. p. 33

"The educational programs of psychopolitics must, at every hand, seek

out the levels of youth who will become the leaders in the country's

future, and educate them into the animalistic nature of Man. This

must be made fashionable. They must be taught to frown upon ideas,

upon individual endeavor. They must be taught above all things, that

the salvation of Man is to be found only by his adjusting

thouroughly to this environment." p. 43

"By thus degrading the general belief in the status of Man, it is

relatively simple, with the economic salients being driven into the

country, to drive citizens apart, one from another, to bring about a

question of the wisdom of their own government, and to cause them to

actively beg for enslavement." p. 43
